Sarett Field Trip- Friday, October 18th

We will be heading to Sarett Nature Center on Friday, October 18th. We will leave Lincoln

at 12:30 and arrive around 12:50. Parents are welcome to join us at Sarett, unfortunately, we have

no room on our buses for any additional adults. If you would like to join us, you will need to pay admission, when you arrive. Admission

is $3 a person. We plan to head back to Lincoln at 3:00pm. When we arrive at Sarett, we will be put into

small groups. Parents can join the groups with the Nature Leaders and walk with your child. Please let your

classroom teacher know if you have any questions.

This module uses literature and informational text to introduce students to the power of literacy and how people around the world overcome learning challenges. It is intentionally designed to encourage students to embrace a love of literacy and reading.

     Upcoming Events: Monday, Sept. 16th - Back to School Night for parents (3rd Grade Meet in Media Center 6:45-7:30 PM) Tuesday, Sept. 17th - Picture Day! Wednesday, Sept 18th - Late Start Back to School Night on Sept. 16th from 6:45-7:30pm We are looking forward to seeing you at Back to School Night, for those of you that are new to Lincoln, this is a time for teachers to talk about the school year ahead, and walk you through the variety of things we are learning and doing at school. Reminder that it is encouraged that only parents attend this event. Wednesday, March 5th- LATE START Friday, March 7th - Concert at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center 9:45-10:30AM, Popcorn Friday! zoom_out_map Music Concert at Mendel Center Our 3rd and 4th graders will be heading to the Mendel Center for a special symphony concert on March 7th. Our music teachers are supporting learning around the event and will talk with students about proper etiquette at the concert. No chaperones will be allowed as there is limited seating that is pre-arranged for all three schools.  Science Olympiad Call all Scientists!
