Mid-Year NWEA Testing
Mid-Year NWEA testing continues this week. There is no need to prepare at home other than to discuss the importance of good test taking skills: taking your time, doing your best, staying focused, eating a good breakfast, drinking water, etc. Please look for an email from your child's teacher for specific dates and times for testing.
Pizza Multiplication
Last week we started a fun incentive to learn our multiplication facts. Students will be working to earn a pizza party. For each multiplication level they pass, students will add another piece to make a whole pizza. Our pizza party will on February 14th, the same day as our Kindness Party. Please look for your child's corrected quiz papers coming home. Students are realizing there are facts they have not put to memory yet and will need to do extra practice on their facts at home. Learning their multiplication facts will be key to their success in math. Thank you for your support from home!
