We can't thank you enough for all of your support and willingness to volunteer throughout the year. We are so thankful for all of the parents who joined us at the zoo, Field Day activities and Reading Camp on Tuesday!


Staff vs. 5th Grade Kickball Game

This Wednesday, May 28th is our annual staff vs. 5th grade kickball game. If you are available to come join us, we could use a few parent volunteers to supervise our classes while we join in the festivities. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you are able to help out for about an hour. Thank you!!


End of the Year 

Can you believe the year is nearly over?  We have been so busy that the time just seemed to fly right past us. We've had a fantastic year and truly enjoyed working with your children this year. We appreciate all of the support that you've given throughout the year and would like to wish your children much success in the years to come.

 

We encourage you to get your child involved in the summer reading program available at the St. Joseph Public Library or your local library.  Your child has grown as a reader this year and the summer reading program is a wonderful opportunity to keep him/her interested and involved in reading throughout the summer. 


Multiplication and Division Facts

Our Ice Cream Multiplication/Division Fact Challenge ended on Friday.  We had a fun time celebrating everyone's hard work with ice cream in the courtyard. Please continue to review these facts with your child during the summer to keep them fresh in their minds. IXL or flashcards are great ways to practice. :) 


Library Books

Last week all library books should have been returned. If your child has any books still at home, please send them in on Tuesday.


Cleaning

As we clean up our classrooms this week and send things home, it would be helpful for your child to bring in a plastic grocery bag or extra bag to carry things home.  Also, we could use a few cans of Clorox Wipes to clean things up for the year.  If you would be able to send in a can, we would appreciate it! Thank you!
