A Note about Reading Camp

3rd grade Reading Camp will be held on Tuesday, May 27th in the Lincoln School courtyard. Our time has been adjusted to include only the afternoon from 12:30-3:30.  We are still in need of several parents (or grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings!) to help run a station.  All materials and directions are provided, you will just need to guide students through the activity.  

In addition, we are looking for 6 large tents and 2 canopies for the afternoon.  The tents are used to provide a "camping" experience while doing the newspaper activity.  We will be very careful when using them!  The tents can be set up anytime before 12:30 on May 27th, and taken down after 3:30 on the same day.  Please review the available slots as you are able.  Here is the link to sign-up to help:  Reading Camp Sign Up

End of the Year Events
Below are a list of events that are coming up in the future. We wanted to share them with you in case you are looking for a time to volunteer. More information will be coming on all of these events.

Multiplication and Division Facts...ICE CREAM!

We are continuing our multiplication and division challenge...ice cream!  Students are finding they have forgotten some of the facts since we last practiced. Please check in with your child and continue reviewing their multiplication and division facts.  We will celebrate everyone's hard work learning their multiplication and division facts with an ice cream party at the end of the year. :)

Wednesday, March 5th- LATE START Friday, March 7th - Concert at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center 9:45-10:30AM, Popcorn Friday! zoom_out_map Music Concert at Mendel Center Our 3rd and 4th graders will be heading to the Mendel Center for a special symphony concert on March 7th. Our music teachers are supporting learning around the event and will talk with students about proper etiquette at the concert.
